Office Closure for the Holidays

Please note that the offices of both the Environmental Foundation of Jamaica (EFJ) and the Jamaica Protected Areas Trust/Forest Conservation Fund (JPAT/FCF) will be closed from December 24, 2012 and will re-open on January 2, 2013.

Office Closure and Summer Hours

The office of the Environmental Foundation of Jamaica will close on August 2 and 3, 2012. Please note that with the holidays this essentially means that our offices will be closed from August 1 to 6. We will reopen for full regular operations on August 7. Please note that summer hours also remain in place with closure at 2pm on Fridays for August 2012.

Environmental Foundation of Jamaica (EFJ) Courts New Donors…

…boosts efforts to win local and foreign support; plans to be announced at Important AGM.

As part of efforts to increase its grant offerings, the Environmental Foundation of Jamaica (EFJ) is expected to unveil plans to court local and international donors. The Foundation will unveil its strategies at its Annual General Meeting (AGM), at the Knutsford Court Hotel in Kingston.

The 18th Annual General Meeting of the Environmental Foundation of Jamaica will be held at the Knutsford Court Hotel on Wednesday December 7, 2011 commencing at 9:00am.

UTech's Faculty of Science and Sport Receives Grants to Research Endemic Jamaican Plants

EFJ Out and About January-March 2011

EFJ hosted three islandwide Proposal Writing Workshops in Kingston, Manchester and St. James in the month of March. EFJ Project staff were on hand to provide information and guidelines on preparing EFJ specific project proposals for submission in the EFJ 2011 CALL for Proposals.
