Assessment of the Contribution of Civil Society to the National and Global Agenda for Sustainable Development
JCDT was awarded $761,200 to support a forum for civil society to inform themselves of their contribution to sustainable development nationally, and to assess this contribution against requirements for implementation of Agenda 21. Activities included the collection and analysis of information on the contribution of Jamaican Civil Society to Sustainable Development; production of information for the Jamaica National Report for WSSD 2002; and a national workshop to address the new challenges and opportunities that have emerged since 1992
