Membership
The governance structure of the EFJ includes a membership base which is unique among the funds under the Enterprise for the America’s Initiative. The membership is comprised of a wide range of civil society organizations which have a mandate or a stated interest in areas of the EFJ’s own mandate: child development and the environment.

Members are involved in projects, in assisting the EFJ in programme development, and in the annual exercise of nominating persons to serve as NGO representatives on the Board of Directors. The EFJ in turn provides support to members in areas of institutional development, governance procedures and training.

There are currently forty members.
