A large part of the core activities at the Environmental Foundation of Jamaica involves funding projects that deal with child development and environmental sustainability issues in Jamaica. Since 1993 we have awarded over 1200 grants. These grants have provided early childhood interventions and programmes for children with special needs and disabilities as well as youth who are at risk. Our environmental grants have buttressed innovation in research and development as well as supported waste management, wetland and watershed management, biodiversity, disbursement of alternative energy and the establishment of community water systems.
We strongly believe in nation-building and invite you to apply for a grant during our annual call for proposals.
